OM presence sensor for surface mounting | 360° coverage

The OM presence sensor is a compact surface-mounted ceiling sensor with a low-profile white housing and full 360° detection coverage. It controls the lighting according to actual presence in the room, keeping the light active even with minimal movement.

Purpose

OM is designed for intelligent lighting control in rooms where people remain in one place for extended periods. Unlike standard motion sensors, this model detects presence and helps prevent unwanted switching off of the light during static activities such as desk work, meetings, reading or studying. The compact housing, with a height of 27 mm, sits discreetly on the ceiling, while the 360° coverage enables effective detection from a single central position. The ability to detect through plasterboard, wood or glass provides additional flexibility when positioning the sensor.

Application

The OM presence sensor is suitable for dry indoor areas thanks to its IP20 protection rating. It can be used in offices, work areas, conference and meeting rooms, classrooms, training rooms, libraries, reading rooms, medical consulting rooms, waiting areas, foyers, corridors and common areas in administrative buildings or hotels. The adjustable ambient light threshold and time delay allow the sensor to be configured according to the specific use of the space, while the 360° coverage ensures even detection around the sensor.

User reviews

We installed it in an office and the lights no longer switch off while people are working quietly at their desks. The housing is low-profile and is barely noticeable on the ceiling.

We use OM in a meeting room and it is much more convenient than a standard motion sensor. It keeps the lighting on during meetings even when there is no active movement.

We installed it in a hotel corridor and the coverage is good from a single central position. The time and ambient light settings allowed us to adapt it to the actual use of the space.
