BM/OM 360° presence sensor | For surface or recessed mounting

The BM/OM 360° presence sensor is a compact sensor for automatic lighting control, featuring a minimalist white housing and full 360° detection coverage. It detects both movement and static presence, keeping the lighting switched on in rooms where people remain in the same position for longer periods.

Purpose

BM/OM 360° is designed for intelligent lighting control in residential, office and public spaces. Unlike standard motion sensors, it detects not only active movement but also static presence, helping to prevent unwanted switching off of the lights during work, meetings or extended occupancy. The sensor is available in BM recessed-mounted and OM surface-mounted versions, allowing adaptation to different ceiling solutions and architectural conditions. Its ability to detect through plasterboard, wood and glass allows for more discreet positioning within the interior.

Application

The BM/OM 360° presence sensor is suitable for dry indoor areas thanks to its IP20 protection rating. It can be used in offices, work areas, conference rooms, classrooms, libraries, archives, warehouses, logistics areas, corridors and common spaces. The full 360° coverage provides even detection throughout the room, while the adjustable time delay and ambient light threshold allow the lighting to be adapted to the way the space is used. The sensor is particularly useful in areas where people sit, work or remain present without constant movement.

User reviews

We installed it in an office and the lights no longer switch off while people are working quietly at their desks. The settings are convenient and the housing looks discreet on the ceiling.

We use it in a conference room and it is much more suitable than a standard motion sensor. It detects presence more reliably and keeps the lighting on during meetings.

We installed it in a corridor and the coverage is good without the need for several separate sensors. The white design is simple and unobtrusive in the interior.
