Flat Recessed Real Presence Sensor

Real Presence is a presence sensor designed for recessed ceiling installation, with a flat and discreet visible surface. It provides intelligent lighting control in rooms with prolonged human presence, keeping the lighting active even when movement is minimal or absent.

Purpose

Real Presence is designed for recessed ceiling installation and is used for automatic lighting control in spaces where a standard PIR sensor is not sufficient. Its main function is to detect actual presence rather than movement alone, which is particularly important in offices, meeting rooms, classrooms and work areas. The flat minimalist housing integrates discreetly into the ceiling surface, while the ability to detect through plasterboard, wood and glass provides greater flexibility in positioning and interior integration.

Application

Real Presence is suitable for dry indoor spaces due to its IP20 protection rating. It can be used in offices, workspaces, conference rooms, classrooms, libraries, laboratories, meeting rooms, waiting areas, foyers, administrative buildings and public buildings. The 360° detection range allows central coverage of the room, while the adjustable time and light-level settings make it easy to adapt the sensor to the specific environment. It is particularly useful in spaces where people work while seated, read, study or remain present for long periods without significant movement.

User Reviews

We installed it in a meeting room and the lighting no longer switches off during longer meetings. The sensor is very discreet on the ceiling and is barely noticeable.

We used Real Presence in an office because employees often work relatively still at their desks. It responds much more reliably than standard motion sensors and the settings are convenient.

We installed it in a library and it solved the problem of the lighting switching off while people were reading. The design is clean and the flat visible surface works well with a minimalist ceiling.
