The Lumos LED light is a compact square surface-mounted luminaire with a low-profile design and a directional light aperture. It provides warm orientation lighting for steps, pathways, terraces and façade areas without causing direct glare.

Intended Use

Lumos is designed for stair and façade lighting where discreet illumination is required for better orientation and safer movement. The compact square shape and low profile of 18 mm allow the fitting to sit unobtrusively on the wall, while the directional light beam illuminates the floor or steps in a controlled manner. The IP65 protection rating makes the light suitable for outdoor use and resistant to dust, moisture and weather conditions.

Applications

Lumos is suitable for outdoor staircases, terraces, verandas, garden paths, walkways around buildings and façade wall marking. The light with a 50° beam angle is directed to illuminate the passage area without causing discomfort to the eyes. The black version creates a strong contrast on light-coloured façades and modern exteriors, while the white version blends more discreetly into light walls and minimalist architectural designs.

We installed them along the outdoor staircase and the light is sufficient for orientation without causing glare. The black housing looks very good against the light-coloured façade.

We use Lumos on the terrace and in the evening it creates a pleasant warm light low on the wall. The fitting is slim and almost unnoticeable during the day.

It is suitable for a pathway around the house when discreet marker lighting is required. It shines downwards, looks neat and feels robust enough for outdoor installation.
